Seminars

PMAC seminars offer current and specific supply chain management information in a convenient format which concisely focuses on relevant topics.

All PMAC seminar leaders are highly qualified individuals: professors, lecturers, authors and practitioners.

Format

Seminars are one or two days in length and are given in a workshop setting. These seminars typically consist of group discussions, exercises, cases, simulations and short lectures. As in all of our educational offerings, each participant is expected to play an active role.

Who Should Attend

Seminars are open to both members and non-members who are practicing or interested in supply chain management.

The new accreditation format of the Strategic Supply Chain Management Leadership Program has specific workshop requirements that follow a semester schedule each year for the three year program. The Certificate in Supply Management program consists of 6 seminars that can be taken in any order and do not require a specific time period to be completed.

Other seminar offerings have been designed to provide specific topics of supply chain management knowledge that both professional designation holders will find useful in upgrading and expanding their skills and that generalists will be able to use in development of workplace skills.

Interactive workshops are offered as part of the Strategic Supply Chain Management Leadership Program but are also open to non-accreditation candidates.

This list of offerings changes from year to year as revisions, substitutions and additions are made.

Cancellation Policy

Fifteen (15) days written notice is required if you cancel your registration. Late cancellations are subject to a $100.00 administration fee. THERE WILL BE NO REFUND IF YOU CANCEL WITHIN TEN (10) DAYS OF THE SEMINAR START DATE. All seminar material must be returned in new condition to the Manitoba Institute of PMAC in the event of registration cancellation. If you do not attend the seminar and neglect to inform your office, you are not eligible for a fee reimbursement. Participant substitution is permitted, provided that the required member/non-member fee is submitted.
