PMAC is the principal source of training, education and professional development for supply chain management professionals in Canada.

Education and member development programs are delivered through the Provincial and Territorial Institutes, supported by the PMAC National office.

All of PMAC’s programs are instructed and presented by distinguished academics and senior practitioners with real-world know-how and expertise, and are available across Canada.

PMAC is closely allied with post-secondary institutions across the country. In 1993, PMAC established Canada's first academic chair in purchasing at the Richard Ivey School of Business.

The Manitoba Institute of PMAC and the University of Manitoba, Extended Education, have established a unique partnership to deliver PMAC education programs in the province. PMAC's Principle courses as well as required management courses are available in instructor-led format through the University of Manitoba. Starting in September 2007, the university will also offer the modules in PMAC’s new Strategic Supply Chain Management Leadership Program.

Manitoba Tuition Fee Income Tax Rebate program

We are pleased to advise you that MIPMAC has been recognized by Manitoba Finance and the Canada Revenue Agency to join the new Manitoba Tuition Fee Income Tax Rebate program. This program will provide a 60% tuition fee rebate to individuals who become SCMPs after January 1, 2007 and who, following graduation, continue to live and work in Manitoba.

New SCMPs will be entitled to receive a 60% income tax rebate on their eligible tuition fees paid after December 31, 2003, which include the fees for membership, seminars, live-in, and final exam, to a maximum amount of $25,000. The full rebate can be claimed over as little as six years or as long as 20 years.
